IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
Dear Cadets,
The Cyprus Maritime Academy and INTERCOLLEGE have been monitoring closely and with concern the rapid expansion of the COVID-19 pandemic in Cyprus.
Determined to participate in an immediate and responsible manner in the efforts to contain the pandemic, the Cyprus Maritime Academy has decided to adopt the following course of action:
- Fall 2020 Semester Theoretical Courses:
From this Monday, 19/10/2020, all theoretical courses of the academic programs of CYMA will be delivered exclusively online making use of the College’s electronic learning platforms, Moodle and Webex.
The online delivery of all theoretical courses will continue until the conclusion of the semester in January 2021.
Cadets will receive their updated and analytical course delivery schedule from the administrative officers of the academy.
- Fall 2020 Semester Mid-term Exams:
Mid-term exams for theoretical courses will take place online making use of the College’s electronic learning platforms.
Cadets will receive information regarding the schedule of their mid-term exams from the administrative officers of the academy.
The Cyprus Maritime Academy encourages its cadets to stay in contact and respond promptly to communication with members of the faculty and to diligently observe all announcements and communications issued by the Academy, Intercollege and their program coordinators.
For CYMA and Intercollege, the health of their cadets and students and of their academic and administrative staff remains the highest priority. We call on everyone to become an active participant in the fight against the pandemic by observing and applying all preventive, health and safety measures.
