Mission

The mission of the Cyprus Maritime Academy is to provide through its training programs the necessary academic knowledge, professional skills and competences to Deck and Engine Officers who wish to pursue a career on merchant marine ships.

The training provided in CyMA is in accordance with the standards of the United Nations International Maritime Organization (IMO) and it is in full compliance with the provisions set out by the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watch-keeping for Seafarers (STCW).
